10x10” Pyrography on wood

Having rendered countless octopuses (since claiming this seaside town as my home) for the valid reasons that they are very fun, are absolute super intelligent beings (alien life) and they have three hearts! Glorifying my favorite sea creature with local florals is how I pay homage to nature and our inner-connectedness with play in the whimsical personification of all life. This one is bringing a gift to their partner- who reciprocates in a lovely way. (see Octopus Gift I)

My work in the last several years has reflected my love for San Francisco. IIn my years as a resident here, my focus has always been on the beauty and care of this city and all of its life.
Thank you for supporting my work!
